Every week, the Johnson State College Athletics Department spotlights one male and one female student-athlete that have excelled either on the playing surface or in the classroom and community.

This week’s male student-athlete spotlight is men’s soccer captain Dominic Caforia. Caforia scored two goals, including the game winner, to propel the Badgers to their first North Atlantic Conference (NAC) victory of the season over Green Mountain on Tuesday. The junior midfielder has been stellar on offense this season, leading the team in goals (6) and points (14).

Caforia and the Badgers will host two NAC contests this weekend, taking on Husson at 1:00 PM on Saturday and Maine Maritime Academy on Sunday at 1:00 PM.
