Stacey Fox, Camp Director, Head Women’s Softball Coach

 

Stacey Fox entered her first year as head women’s softball coach at Northern Vermont University-Johnson. Coach Fox comes to NVU-Johnson after an impressive career at NCAA Division I University of Rhode Island earning a full athletic scholarship while mainly playing catcher and outfield for the Rams. Fox played in 171 games throughout her career. After her time as an athlete at URI, Fox returned as a student assistant coach and assisted in fundraising, community service, academic performance and instructing practices and games. During the summer months Fox was the head coach and responsible for all facets of operation for the Conklin Raiders which is one of the premier youth travel softball teams in the state of New York.

 

About the Camp: 

 

In addition to the Northern Vermont University coaches, the staff will include members of the NVU-Johnson women’s softball team. The full day option runs from 

 

Fees:    Residential Camp: $425

Location:The Northern Vermont Hoop Camp takes place on the NVU-Johnson campus in Johnson, Vermont. Johnson sits atop 350 hilltop acres in the heart of the Green Mountains. JSC is central to many major ski resorts and is 25 minutes from Stowe, 15 minutes from Smugglers’ Notch Ski Resort, 45 minutes from Burlington and about 2 hours from Montreal.

 

Facilities and Amenities: Softball sessions will take place on our Softball field and in our SHAPE multi-gym, enjoy the food at the all-you-can-eat Stearns Dining Hall. Campers will have the opportunity to swim in our 8-lane swimming pool. Campers also take advantage of training room staff onsite.

·         Toiletries: soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, shower shoes (highly recommended), any eye care needs (such as eyeglasses, contacts with case/solution, etc.)
