Aither Nominated for North Atlantic Conference Woman of the Year

WATERVILLE, MAINE – Recent Johnson graduate Kylie Aither has been nominated for the North Atlantic Conference Woman of the Year.

The award honors graduating student-athletes who have distinguished themselves throughout their collegiate careers in the areas of academic achievement, athletics excellence, service and leadership.

Aither was a two-year captain for the Badgers' women's soccer team, while earning All-NAC First Team honors in 2017. The Early Childhood Education major spent time working with elementary afterschool and summer programs. She worked at Hosmer Point cleaning boats and painting cabins, has served a referee at the World Soccer Festival and coached local youth and played soccer games with the Beyond Sports Soccer Program. Aither earned Dean's List recognition four times, was named to the NAC All-Academic Fall Team twice and was honored with the Richard E. Andersen Award.

The NAC Woman of the Year award winner will be announced in late July, and will be honored on their campus during the 2018-19 academic year.
