MBB: Big Second Half Pushes Eagles Past Johnson

JOHNSON, Vt. – The Johnson State College men's basketball team fell to Husson University 97-71 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) contest on Friday night at Carter Gym.

The Badgers drop to 5-9 (2-6 NAC) on the season while the Eagles move to 11-4 (8-1 NAC).

1st HALF

The teams stayed close throughout the opening half, with the Badger maintaining a steady lead in the early going and Husson taking control by the end of the half. The Eagles were able to take a 38-32 lead after the first twenty minutes.

2nd HALF

The Eagles came out strong in the second half, going on a 21-8 run over the first six minutes. Husson would continue to build their lead through the half, stretching it to as much as 35 late in the game and moving on to the 97-71 victory.
