Baders Lose in NAC Battle

CANTON, NY- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's basketball team fell to SUNY Canton by a score of 103-80 on Friday evening.

The Badgers started the evening strong with a Dubose layup and a three point make by Javon Daniels (Germantown, MD). Daniels ended the night making 3-4 attempts from behind the arc. After the initial run by the Badgers, the Kangaroos made a run of their own. A strong defensive effort pushed the Kangaroos to a lead of 51-36 headed into the second half.

In the second half the Kangaroos controlled the pace. After an initial basket by Tyhee Taylor (Philadelphia, PA) the Kangaroos had a 7-0 with five of the seven points coming from Jordan Stewart. Both teams traded baskets mid-way through the half but the size and physicality of the Kangaroos wwas too much for the Badgers as they fell in regulation against North Atlantic Conference foe.
