Badgers Add Depth in Frontcourt for 2019-2020 Season

JOHNSON, Vt.-The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's basketball team have earned another commitment for the 2019-2020 season. Vermont native Logan Wright has joined the Badger's for the upcoming year.

Logan Wright has signed the necessary paperwork and has made a commitment to Head Coach Miles Smith and the Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's basketball team for the 2019-2020 season. Wright comes to NVU-Johnson from Randolph, Vermont where he was a member of the Randolph Union High School boys' varsity basketball program.

Wright plans to pursue a degree in Business with a concentration in Sports Management. Wright plans to use his degree to get into coaching after his time at NVU-Johnson. "I chose NVU-Johnson because I felt all along that it was a great place to study coaching and play basketball at the same time".

Wright is the second commitment for the Badgers coming out of the state of Vermont and he is excited to get the ball bouncing for the Badgers next season. "I'm excited for the opportunity to play for Head Coach Miles Smith. He seems like a great guy and a great coach. I feel like he can help me take my game to the next level", said Wright.  "I'm excited to join the Badger community. After playing with the guys, I think this will be a great experience with so many successful opportunities".

Head Coach Miles Smith believes that Wright will grow into a strong player for the Badgers over the course of his career. "We are excited to add Logan to our roster for next season. His ability to shoot the ball at his height is something that we as a program are looking for. Having Logan will give us depth at our front court positions", said Smith.

Wright is the third commitment for the Badgers this offseason.
