Men's Basketball Drop Conference Contest Against Terriers

WATERVILLE, ME.-The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's basketball team traveled to Thomas College for a North Atlantic Conference in the last conference game of the weekend. The Terriers topped the Badgers by a score of 68-58.

Robert Dubose led the Badgers with 24 points on 7-17 shooting. Ayodeji Shokeye added 13 points and Floyd Davis added 11 points and a team high seven rebounds. The Terriers took the lead early jumping out to a 13-6 lead. The Badgers closed the deficit, but it was Thomas that took the lead into the half by a score of 39-27.

Thomas continued having the advantage in the second half with a 20-7 run in the first eight minutes of the second giving the Terriers their largest lead of the afternoon at 43-15.

Johnson battled back coming out of the break with a 19-6 run seven minutes through the third to cut the lead to 49-34. Thomas responded in the fourth quarter to gain the 64-49 NAC victory.

With the loss the Badgers drop to 3-14 and 1-4 in North Atlantic Conference action.
