WATERVILLE, Maine – Johnson men's golf stands in fourth place after the first day at the 2012 North Atlantic Conference Men's Golf Championship, Saturday at Waterville Country Club. Husson University carded a 315 to lead, Salem State University is second one-shot back with a 316, host University of Maine-Farmington is third with a 321, and the Badgers are fourth at 327.
Johnson freshman Kevin Dwyer (Hanover, N.H./Hanover) (pictured) is tied atop the leaderboard after firing a 75 on the par 70, 6267-yard Waterville, Maine course. The six-time defending champion Husson Eagles were led by Lance Bernier's round of 75 while Maine-Farmington's Joe Messerman shot the same score.
