COBLESKILL, NY — The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's golf team tied for third place on Friday afternoon at the SUNY Cobleskill Jug Classic. 

NVU-Johnson compiled an overall team score of 330. Junior Philip Lyon (South Burlington, Vt) led the way for the Badgers with a score of 81 and a 10th place finish. Austin Walters (Grantham, NH), Kaden Swett (Brownington, Vt), and David Albright (Grantham, NH) followed close behind, each earning scores of 83 to tie for 16th place. 

Northern Vermont University-Johnson will compete next on Wednesday, September 19th at Westfield State Invitational, hosted at Tekoa Country Club in Westfield, Massachusetts.
