WESTFIELD,MA- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's golf team competed in the Brett Williamson Invitationa on Wednesday morning. The tournament was held at the Tekoa Country Club. The Badgers finished with an overall team score of 320 giving them an overall third place finish.
Senior Austin Walters (Grantham, N.H.) was the Badgers top performer on the day. Walters finished with 4 over par and an overall score of 75 to tie for the best score of the day with Westfield State senior Ryan Koczela and Eastern Nazarene's Michael Dietz. Philip Lyon (South Burlington, Vt.) and Kaden Swett (Brownington,Vt.) followed with scores of 77 and 78. Robert Maher (Bakersfield,Vt.) and Colin Compagna (Morrisville, Vt.) finished with scores of 90 and 96.
