JOHNSON, Vt.- The 2019 Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's golf schedule was released Monday morning.
The Badgers open up their 2019 campaign on Friday, August 30thand Saturday, August 31stin the NVU-Johnson Invitational. In 2018 the Badgers placed first overall for the invitational and look to continue their success in the start of the 2019 season.
With a similar schedule as the prior year, the Badgers will head to SUNY Cobleskill and compete in the Fall Jug Classic on Friday, September 7th. The event will be the first of many for the Badgers on the road as they will compete in the Westfield State Invitational, Castleton Invitational and Paul Smith's Golf Classic to round out the month of September.
In 2018 the Badgers had top a top three finish in the Westfield State Invitational and finished 4that the Castleton Invitational. Recent graduate David Albright led the Badgers to a top finish in the Paul Smith's Golf Classic, while also taking home medalist honors beating out his opponents with a score of 70 overall.
The Badgers will conclude the regular season as they host the Lou Jarvis Memorial Invitational on October 4 at the Stowe Country Club. In 2018 the Badgers finished first overall at the invitational.
To conclude the 2019 season the Badgers will compete in the North Atlantic Conference Championship on October 12 and October 13. This year the NAC Championship will be hosted by Thomas College.
