NASHUA, N.H. – The Johnson State College men's lacrosse team fell to Daniel Webster College 10-1 in a non-conference game on Sunday night.
The Badgers go to 0-3 on the season while the Eagles move to 3-3.
1st Quarter
Daniel Webster scored three in the first quarter, including a man up goal by Tanner Todd.
2nd Quarter
The Eagles picked up three more in the second to take a 6-0 lead into the second half.
3rd Quarter
Rhys Keenhold (Braintree, Vt.) put Johnson on the board two minutes into the second on a goal assisted by Travis Brown (Culpeper, Va.). Daniel Webster tacked on two more in the quarter to take an 8-1 lead.
4th Quarter
The Eagles notched two goals in the final minutes to take the 10-1 victory.
Goalkeepers
James Bushy gave up a goal on nine shots to earn the win. Jay Palmisano (Barre, Vt.) stopped 17 and was tagged with the loss.
Stats Breakdown
DWC outshot the Badgers 45-15 overall (27-9 on goal) and earned a 33-30 edge in groundballs. The Eagles went 2 for 2 on the man advantage and held Johnson scoreless on five opportunities.
