Palmisano, Wehse Receive NAC Men's Lacrosse Honors

WATERVILLE, MAINE – Johnson State College Men's Lacrosse Senior Jay Palmisano (Barre, Vt.) and Freshman Ethan Wehse (Stowe, Vt.) were among those honored by the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) on Tuesday as the conference announced its end of season awards.

Palmisano was named to the All-Conference Second Team, while Wehse was named to the Sportsmanship Team.

Palmisano earns his third straight All-Conference Second Team nod, following a season where he ranked among the best goalies in the conference. The senior stopped 81 shots in conference play, 3rd best in the NAC. He also held a 52.3% save percentage and 14.8 goals against average.

Wehse, a first year member of the men's lacrosse team, was named to the NAC Men's Lacrosse Sportsmanship Team which is reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees are individuals who have positively affected the lacrosse culture and environment and whose behavior clearly demonstrates sportsmanship and integrity that go beyond the playing rules and etiquette.
