CASTINE, Maine – The Johnson State College men's lacrosse team fell to Maine Maritime Academy 18-0 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) game on Friday afternoon.
The Badgers drop to 0-8 (0-5 NAC) on the season while the Mariners improve to 2-7 (2-3 NAC).
1st Quarter
The Mariners got off to a strong start, putting up eight goals in the first to take the 8-0 lead.
2nd Quarter
MMA picked up four more in the second to go up 12-0 at the half.
3rd Quarter
The Badgers were able to quiet the Maine Maritime offense in the third, giving up just one goal to bring the score to 13-0.
4th Quarter
Maine Maritime added five more in the fourth to take the 18-0 victory.
Goalkeepers
Isaiah Weston got the win for MMA, working the first half and make and two saves. Patrick Bell was given the loss in a nine save performance.
