NASHUA, N.H.-The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's lacrosse team faced off in a non-conference game against Rivier University on Friday evening. The Badgers dropped the game by a score of 23-2.
The Badgers were led by Noah Holmes who provided one goal, one assist, and three ground balls. Josh Benak netted a goal for the Badgers and shot 50.0% on goal for the contest.
Rivier controlled most of the pace as then turned the Badgers over and earned possession of the ball 44 times. The Badgers recorded 12 shots for the game but the defense of Rivier held the Badgers to only six shots on goal.
Rivier was led by Nick Wolfrom who recorded five goals on 11 shots. Nick Ackerman led the team with seven assists.

The Badgers will host SUNY Canton on Monday, April 22 for a North Atlantic Conference game. The game will begin at 4:30pm.
