CASTINE, Maine - Johnson State College fell to Maine Maritime Academy in North Atlantic Conference (NAC)men's soccer action on Sunday to fall to 4-6-1, 1-3 NAC. Maine Maritime Academy improves to 5-3-1, 2-2 NAC.
JSC's Ryan Belen (Northvale, N.J./Northern Valley) made five saves in the loss while his counterpart William LaCour made one save to pick up the shutout.
MMA saw Nate Tipton (West Chester, Penn.) score both goals with Ben Russell (Farmington, Maine) assisting on both.
Johnson State will face Lyndon State College in their next contest on Saturday, October 8 at 3:00 pm. MMA returns to action also on Saturday against Colby-Sawyer at 3:00 pm.
