Thomas takes 3-0 decision from Johnson

WATERVILLE, Maine - Johnson men's soccer fell behind 3-0 in the first half of their match on Friday at Thomas College and that is where it finished as the Terriers topped the Badgers in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action.  JSC is 0-8, 0-2 NAC while Thomas improves to 5-0-1, 2-0 NAC.

Thomas received two scores from Michael Hand (1:25 & 23:48) and one from Dakota Duplisse (15:24) in the first stanza to take control and pick up the victory.

Johnson keeper Ryan Belen (Northvale, N.J./Northern Valley) (pictured) tried to keep the Badgers in it making seven saves in the loss while his counterparts Mikkail Crockwell  and Winston Trott combined for two saves with Crockwell getting credit for the win.

Thomas was able to control action for much of the contest earning a 24-8 shot advantage and 3-0 edge in corner kicks.

Johnson will play again on Saturday at home against non-conference opponent Fisher College while Thomas will move on to face Bates College on Sunday.
