LYNDON CENTER, Vt. - Johnson State men's soccer was defeated 2-0 at Lyndon State College on Saturday in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play. JSC dips to 1-12, 0-5 NAC while the Hornets improve to 3-8, 2-3 NAC.
Lyndon's Patrice Lamumba assisted on two second half goals to help spark the victory as Lueth Lueth scored at 70:20 and Yessi Gar-Elnabi at 74:07.
Senior Jason Gray made two saves to earn the shutout victory while counterpart Alex Pakatar (Troy, N.Y./LaSalle) made seven stops for Johnson.
Lyndon earned a decisive 23-4 advantage on the day and 5-3 edge in corner kicks.
Johnson moves on to play a pair of NAC road matches next weekend in New Hampshire at Colby-Saywer College and New England College.
