Colby-Sawyer Rolls to 11-1 Win Over Johnson

The Colby-Sawyer men's soccer team erupted for 11 goals in an 11-1 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) victory at Johnson State on Sunday. 

With the win, the Chargers improve to 8-5 overall and claim the top spot in the NAC standings with a 6-0 record. The Chargers return to the pitch on Saturday with a 3:30 p.m. home match against Green Mountain. The Badgers drop to 2-11 overall and 1-6 in the NAC. 

Denali Sexton had another impressive game for the Chargers with four goals and three assists. James McCleeryMatt Schiller and Dylan West recorded their first collegiate goals in the game. Jake Sykes and Zach Elmore each scored a pair in the Chargers' fifth straight win. 

Sean Springer notched the lone goal for the the Badgers.

Shane Sacks earned his third straight win with four saves in goal for the Chargers. 

Colby-Sawyer outshot the Badgers 38-15 and had a 7-3 edge in corner kicks.
