FARMINGTON, Maine- Johnson State College men's soccer dropped a North Atlantic Conference match to the University of Maine at Farmington, 2-0 Saturday afternoon at Leib Field. With the loss, the Badgers slip to (2-11-0, 1-6-0) and Maine Farmington improves to (4-9-0, 2-4-0).

 SCORING 

1st Half: - Nick Marshall scored at 6:24 to get the Beavers on the board early. This would be the only goal in the half as the hosts went into halftime with a 1-0 lead.

2nd Half: The Badgers were unable to score in the second half while Maine Farmington was able to tack on one more making the final score 2-0 in the hosts favor.

GOALKEEPERS 

Gerrit Lane (Moretown, Vt.) stopped 11 out of 13 shots on goal and was tabbed with the loss. Ronie Morales stopped all the Badgers five shot to get the win.

NEXT UP

The Badgers will host Castleton University for a NAC contest on Tuesday, October 18th, which is slated to start at 4:00 PM.
