JOHNSON, Vt — The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's soccer team fell to Pine Manor 1-0 after a defensive battle in their non-conference matchup at Minaert Field on Saturday afternoon.
SCORING
In a game dominated by defense and play in the midfield, it was Pine Manor's Elmer Pineda who found the back of the net in the 22nd minute for the sole goal of the match. Johnson's Elliot Hanna (Milton, VT), Joseph Holloway (Essex County, England), and Wyatt Moberg (Acton, MA) each had a shot on goal for the Badgers (7-5, 2-2 NAC).
