Terriers Silence Badgers 9-0

The Thomas men's tennis team lost just two games for the entire match on their way to a 9-0 victory on Friday evening. The Terriers (5-4, 1-0 NAC) complete a season sweep of the Badgers (0-5, 0-1 NAC).

In doubles match play, the Terriers did not lose a single game as they went on to take all three doubles matches.

The number one doubles team of Eric Morin and Tyler Small defeated Gerrit Lane and Cole Hennessy, number two doubles pair Zachary Disch and Joseph Greco downed Alex Pakatar and Nihad Basic, and third doubles Jonte Roussel and Caleb Cough took down Zach Baughn and Greg Davis. The Terriers won all three matches 8-0.

Thomas was just as impressive in singles play, as the six singles players lost a combined two games as the Terriers went on to take all six singles matches and earn the 9-0 team victory.

Small, Disch, Cough and Greco all won 6-0, 6-0 in their respective singles matches, while Morin and Caleb Mora won their matches 6-0, 6-1.

Thomas will have have a quick turnaround, returning to the court on Saturday, April 4 to take on Lyndon State College at 12:30 PM. Johnson will resume play next week on Thursday the 9th against MCLA.
