QUINCY, MA- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's volleyball team fell to Eastern Nazarene in straight sets in their first match on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts prevailed 25-18 in the first set to snag a 1-0 lead before claiming the second frame 25-13 to widen the margin to 2-0. The Lions clinched the third set 25-20 to lock up the win in straight sets.
Jesse Streeter and Ryan Willette were the top performers for the Badgers. Streeter had a team high six kills while Willette added four kills. Dominic Phelps recorded three kills and seven digs and Jason Madrid had a team high 14 assists.
With the loss the Badgers move to 1-4 on the season.
