CHICOPEE, Mass. — The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's volleyball team fell to Elms college in straight sets in their first match on Saturday afternoon. 

Elms claimed the first set 25-7 to take a 1-0 advantage before taking the second set 25-12 to take a 2-0 lead. Going on an early 7-0 run the Blazers continued to set the pace in the third set, eventually locking up the set 25-15 to complete the 3-0 sweep over the Badgers.

Ryan Willette led the Badgers with six kills and seven digs. Dominic Phelps recorded seven digs and Jason Madrid had a team high 10 assists. 

With the loss, the Badgers move to 4-6 on the season.
