STANDISH, Maine - Johnson men's cross country came in tied for 6th place as a team with a score of 144 at the Runnin' Monks Invitational hosted by St. Joseph's College of Maine in Standish.
Emerson College won the event with a score of 71 while the University of New England came in second with a 79 and Lasell College was third with 91.
In a time of 29:24, St. Joseph's Joe DiSalvo edged the University of Maine-Presque Isle's Thomas Grylka to earn the individual win. Jackson Fortin of the University of Maine-Farmington was third with a time of 29:33.
Johnson's Brendan Walsh (Killingworth, Conn./Killingworth) came in 5th place to pace the Badgers with a time of 29:55.
