NAC Men's Cross Country Preseason Poll Released

The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has released the 2016 Men's Cross Country Preseason Poll and Johnson State College has been ranked to finish tenth in a vote conducted by the league's coaches.

Johnson State will be led by Shawn Woods, who enters his fifth season, and will look to reload after graduating four of the team's top six runners from a season ago. Seniors Jacob Greenia (Sheldon, Vt.) and Jason Harris (Lyndonville, Vt.), as well as junior Kyle Duffy (Waterbury Center, Vt.), will all look to fill into the top spots on the team. The Badgers three newcomers, Samuel Adams (Randolph, Vt.), Jason Baker (Milford Conn.), and Cole Shebak (Brookline, N.H.), will all need to step up quickly to improve on Johnson's ninth place finish at the 2015 NAC Championship. Johnson opens the season at the SUNY Canton Kangaroo Invitational on September 1. The Badgers will also play host to this year's NAC Championship on October 29.
