XC: Johnson Runs in Keene State Rust Buster

KEENE, NH – The Northern Vermont University men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Keene State Rust Buster races hosted by Keene State on Saturday.

WOMEN'S RECAP

Emily Cass finished in 15th place to lead the Badgers with a time of 15:50. Kandace Belcourt-Monteiro came in 16th place with a posted time of 17:27. Sarah Sodaro followed closely behind with a time of 17:41 to place 17th. Jessica Malskis and Jenna Knight finished 18th and 19th respectively, with times of 19:08 and 20:36. Molly Durling and Victoria Poquette rounded out the day for the Badgers with times of 20:45 and 23:14 to earn 20th and 21st place finishes.

MEN'S RECAP

Timothy Rudder led the Badgers to earn 20th place with a time of 20:45. Richard Radcliff and Sheldon Billings followed in 23rd and 24th place, running the distance in 23:10 and and 24:42 respectively. Jordan Sullivan, David Constantine and Javon Daniels  ended the day with 25th, 26th, and 27th finishes with times of 31:23, 35:01, and 35:30.

NEXT UP

The Badgers will compete at the Vermont Tech Maple Syrup Invitational on Saturday, September 8th. The women will kick the day off at 11 a.m., followed by the men at noon.
