RANDOLPH, VT — The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Vermont Tech Maple Syrup Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
MEN'S RECAP
Sophomore Sheldon Billings (Ossipee, NH) finished first for the Badgers, clocking in at a time of 40:03 for the 8000 meter race, finishing 52nd. Richard Radcliff (Danbury, CT) followed right behind at 40:26 to take 53rd place.
WOMEN'S RECAP
Senior Sarah Sodaro (Monkton, VT) set the pace for the Badgers, completing the 5000 meter run in 29:37 to take 30th place. Jessica Malskis (Jay, NY) and Jenna Knight (Springfield, Vt) finished strong for the Badgers to take 31st and 33rd with times of 30:24 and 31:08.

The Badgers will travel to Ogunquit Beach, Maine on Saturday, September 15th to compete at the Lobster Dash Race. Both men and women will begin at 9:00 a.m.
