NVU-Johnson Cross-Country Competes In Lobster Dash

Ogunquit Beach, ME-  The Northern Vermont-Johnson men's cross-country competed in the Lobster Dash this past weekend. The Lobster Dash is a unique 5 mile race, raced entirely on the beach at low tide with the course going from Ogunquit Beach to Moody Beach. 

 STANDOUT PERFORMANCES

Sophomore Sheldon Billings (Ossipee, NH) finished first in his age division and 13th overall in the 158 person race. Billings ran the 5 miles in a total time of 36:55.

The Lobster Dash is part of the Northern Vermont University-Johnson annual September team trip to Maine. The team trained on the beach and spent time near the ocean during the weekend.
