JOHNSON, Vt.- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's cross-country team competed in the opening race of the season on their home course. The Badgers hosted the NVU-Johnson Invitational for the first time in two years. The Badgers finished third overall on Saturday morning.
Floyd Davis was the top finisher for the Badgers coming in third overall with a time of 20:06. Lawson Ouellette had a top 10 finish with a time of 21:00, while Sheldon Billings recorded a time of 24:10. SUNY Canton had six runners finish in the top ten and Jeremy Gundrum earned medalist honors for the Kangaroos.
Rounding out the Badgers was Andrew Westphal and Logan Sheppard-Tobin. Westphal finished with a time of 27:18 and Tobin rounded out with a time of 27:29.
