Ouellette Leads Badgers in Lobster Dash

OQGUNQUIT, ME- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men's cross-country team traveled to Oqunquit, Maine to compete in the Lobster Dash on Saturday morning.

The 5-mile race is an annual race that both the Northern Vermont University-Johnson men and women's cross-country teams compete in. The Badgers travel and spend the weekend in Maine where they experience training sessions on the beach to prepare for the 5k Lobster Dash.

Lawson Ouellette was the top performer for the Badgers finishing in the top ten and posting a time of 35:56 which earned him a 7thplace finish. Sheldon Billings followed posting a time of 36:14 that placed him 8thoverall on the day. Andrew Westphal maintained a pace of 8:24 earning him a 30thplace finish with a time of 41:57. Cole Shebak rounded out the group in 32ndplace finishing with a time of 42:29.
