NAC Softball Preseason Poll Released

WATERVILLE, MAINE - The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has released the 2017 Softball Preseason Poll and Johnson State College has been ranked to finish sixth in a vote conducted by the league's coaches.

Johnson State (2016: 7-19, 4-8 NAC) head coach Robert Gervais enters his ninth year guiding the Badgers. Seniors Jennie Moore (Peachem, Vt.), Anna Bingham (Island Pond, Vt.; pictured right) and Hannah Leroux (Albany, Vt.), junior Kasie Craig (Newbury, Vt.), and sophomore Kaitlynn Woodward (White River, Vt.) will look to lead the 2017 squad. Johnson's success will hinge on a solid defense backing an untested pitching staff.

The Badgers will travel to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina this weekend for six games, starting with a game against Medaille at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, March 10th.
