NAC Softball Preseason Poll Released

WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has announced its 2018 Softball Preseason Poll and Johnson State College has been ranked to finish sixth in a vote conducted by the league's coaches.

Johnson (2017: 4-18, 3-9 NAC) will be led by veteran head coach Robert Gervais. The Badgers return senior captains Abby McRae (Milton, Vt.), Kaitlynn Woodward (White River, Vt.) and Kasie Craig (Windham, Maine). The Badgers enter a rebuilding year with several new players at key positions. Johnson will look to improve each game and make a playoff push.

Husson was picked first in the poll, earning three first place votes for 44 points. Defending NAC Champion Thomas was selected second with 41 points and two first place votes, followed by Castleton with 38 points and two first place votes.
