Badgers Add Katrina Fox for 2020 Season

JOHNSON, Vt.-The Northern Vermont University-Johnson softball team and first year Head Coach Stacey Fox have received their first commitment for the 2020 season.

Katrina Fox comes to Northern Vermont University-Johnson from Johnson City, New York. Fox was a member of the Johnson City varsity softball team for five years, while also competing for the Conklin Raiders and STPS Ponies in the offseason. Fox received All-Conference honors twice in her high school career while also being named as a top player in her division.

"I am very excited to attend Northern Vermont University-Johnson. I chose the school for the great courses and the opportunity to learn more about the field of Criminal Justice", said Fox. "I really enjoyed the environment of the campus and I look forward to the Fall of 2019".

Katrina is set to make an immediate impact on the mound for the Badgers next season. Katrina is the younger sister of Head Coach Stacey Fox and is excited to be close to her sister while following her dreams of playing softball at the collegiate level. "I am very excited to be able to play for Coach Fox and I look forward to being part of this softball team as well as get mentored by a great coach".

The Badgers finished their first season under Coach Fox this spring with a 3-25 record and 2-10 record in North Atlantic Conference play.
