Johnson State dropped their last home game of the season to North Atlantic Conference (NAC) foe New England College 84-60 Thursday evening in Carter Gymnasium. Johnson slides to 6-11 in the NAC (6-17 overall) while New England College improves to 12-5 in the NAC (18-6 overall).

Johnson started out slow, allowing New England College to go on a 19-3 run to open up the stanza. Brittany Robertson answered the run with a three pointer, and then a jump shot with 13:12 remaining in the half. The Pilgrims would go on another run that would put them up 39-18 with 5:11 left in the half. A couple of made layups from Sarah Voorhis and some free throws kept the lead at 20 going into the half.

Back and forth play would keep the lead at 20 with up until the 4:24 mark. The Pilgrims would then go on to extend the lead to 26, the biggest of the game, and closed out the half strong, picking up an 84-60 conference win.
