JOHNSON, Vt. – The Johnson State College women's basketball team fell to the College of St. Joseph 87-58 in their season opener on Wednesday night in Carter Gym.
The Badgers start their season 0-1 while the Fighting Saints go to 1-1.
1ST QUARTER
St. Joseph started the game on an 8-2 run and built their lead to a 23-11 advantage after the first.
2ND QUARTER
The teams traded basket in the early minutes of the quarter, before the Fighting Saints ended the quarter on a 13-5 to hold a 44-28 lead at the bream
3RD QUARTER
The Fighting Saints held Johnson off and extended their lead to 21 by the end of the third, holding a 63-42 lead heading into the fourth.
4TH QUARTER
St. Joseph put the Badgers away in the fourth, taking the 87-58 lead.
