JOHNSON, Vt. – The Johnson State College women's basketball team fell to the Castleton University 68-14 in their North Atlantic Conference (NAC) opener on Tuesday night in Carter Gym.
The Badgers move to 0-3 on the season while Castleton improves to 5-0.
1ST QUARTER
The Spartans jumped out to an early 13-0 lead and held on to a 16-2 advantage after one.
2ND QUARTER
The Badgers sparked some offense in the second, with Castleton outscoring Johnson 14-10 to take a 30-12 lead into halftime.
3RD QUARTER
Castleton kept the pressure on in the third to take a 56-12 lead into the final quarter.
4TH QUARTER
The Spartans put the Badgers away in the fourth, taking the 68-14 victory.
