JOHNSON, Vt. – The Johnson State College women's basketball team fell to Colby-Sawyer College 78-40 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) contest on Tuesday evening.
The Badgers drop to 2-14 (1-10 NAC) on the season while the Chargers move to 13-4 (8-2 NAC).
1st QUARTER
Colby-Sawyer led 23-10 after the first quarter behind 45.5% shooting and a 14-6 edge in rebounding. The Chargers took advantage of eight offensive boards to score nine second chance points.
2nd QUARTER
The Chargers held Johnson to just two points in the second to increase their lead to 34-12 at the half.
3rd QUARTER
Colby-Sawyer heated up offensively, putting up 29 points to take a 63-23 lead into the fourth.
4th QUARTER
The Badgers were outscored 15-7 in the final quarter to fall to Colby-Sawyer 78-30.
