JOHNSON, Vt. – The Johnson State College women's basketball team fell to Maine Maritime Academy 69-30 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) game on Friday night.
The Badgers drop to 3-18 (2-13 NAC) on the season while the Mariners move to 15-7 (10-5 NAC).
1st QUARTER
The Mariners jumped out to an early 7-2 lead and pushed on to take a 19-5 advantage after one.
2nd QUARTER
MMA held on to control in the second, outscoring the Badgers 15-9 to take a 34-15 lead into the break.
3rd QUARTER
The Mariners maintained the momentum in the second half, taking a 25 point advantage into the forth, 49-25.
4th QUARTER
Maine Maritime put Johnson away in the fourth, taking the 69-30 victory.
