BANGOR, Maine – The Johnson State College women's basketball team fell to Husson University 66-37 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) game on Saturday afternoon.
The Badgers drop to 3-19 (2-14 NAC) on the season while the Eagles move to 14-9 (12-4 NAC).
1st QUARTER
Husson jumped out to an early 12-0 lead seven minutes in. The Eagles kept control and took a 20-5 lead after one.
2nd QUARTER
The Badgers held pace in the second, with Husson outscoring Johnson 15-12 in the quarter to take a 35-17 lead into halftime.
3rd QUARTER
The teams traded baskets early in the third, but Husson pulled away to outscore the Badgers 17-10 in the quarter to bring their lead to 52-27 going into the fourth.
4th QUARTER
Husson finished off the Badgers in the fourth to take the 66-37 win.
