JOHNSON, Vt. – The Johnson State College women's basketball team fell to Pine Manor College 75-69 in a non-conference game on Tuesday evening at Carter Gym.
The Badgers drop to 3-20 (2-14 NAC) on the season while the Gators move to 8-16.
1st QUARTER
The teams traded baskets throughout the first quarter, with Pine Manor taking a 14-13 edge into the second quarter.
2nd QUARTER
The Badgers held off early attempt for Pine Manor to pull away, but the Gators were eventually able to take a 37-27 lead going into the break after an 11-2 run in the final two minutes of the quarter.
3rd QUARTER
Johnson was able to chip away at the Gator lead throughout the third, reducing the deficit to 54-48 going into the final quarter.
4th QUARTER
The Badgers refused to go away, getting as close as four points back with just over a minute left, but the Gators pulled away with the 75-69 win.
