Sade Tate-Marshall Commits to Women's Basketball for 2020-2021 Season

JOHNSON, Vt.-The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's basketball program and Head Coach Greg Eckman announced an additional commitment for the 2020-2021 season on Monday morning.

Sade Tate-Marshall a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma and a student-athlete at Central High School has signed the necessary paperwork and has committed to Northern Vermont University-Johnson for the fall of 2020. When arrived at NVU-Johnson Tate-Marshall will pursue a degree in Criminal Justice.

"I chose NVU-Johnson because of Coach Eckman and the recruitment process. He seems like a great coach and I am excited for him to help me at the next level."

Head Coach Greg Eckman is excited about the addition of Tate-Marshall and believes she will provide depth for the Badgers this season. 

"The NVU-Johnson women's basketball team is excited to announce our second deposit for the fall of 2020 with Sade Tate-Marshall committing to play for us this upcoming season," said Eckman.  "Sade will improve the Badgers this upcoming season with her length and ability to play the wing and also small forward.  The 6'0 Guard/Forward will create pressure on opposing teams with her ability to guard the wing and contest shots while also providing a presence on the boards."

At Central High School, Tate-Marshall was named to the Honor Roll for the past three years and hopes to continue her academic success at NVU-Johnson.

Head Coach Greg Eckman and the women's basketball program plans to announce additional commitments for the 2020-2021 season in the near future.
