NORTHFIELD, Vt.- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's basketball team capped off the 2020-2021 season on the road at Norwich University. The Cadets took the contest by a score of 61-32.

Devyn Thompson's 12 points were a team-high for the Badgers who also received nine points and nine boards from senior Ellery Kiefer. Freshman Gabriella Wardwell tied the Cadets Julia Vigorito for a game-high with 10 rebounds.

The Cadets opened up the contest on a 9-0 run until Thompson's three ended Norwich's run. IT wasn't until the second stint of action that the Cadets would pull away. Norwich began to find the range hitting on 7-of-16 attempts to extend its lead. Vigorito topped all scorers in the period with seven points on 3-of-3 shooting scoring in the paint, from mid-range, and from deep.

The Badgers defense would alter the Cadets offense but couldn't find an offensive attack which resulted in the loss. With the win Norwich improves to 3-1 while the Badgers drop to 0-7 to conclude the 2020-21 season.
