Great Way to Start the Year for The Badgers

Women's basketball with an amazing NAC conference win on the road against U-Maine Farmington 62 to 57. Coming off the holiday break our Badgers are back in action as our basketball program took on the University of Maine Farmington.  

The Johnson Badgers shot an impressive 68.9% from the free throw line.  #34 Gabriella Wardwell (Springfield, VT / Springfield HS) start off 2023 strong with 8 points and 21 rebounds.

#30 Emma Buonanno (Wolcott, VT / Stowe High School) joined Gabriella with a double-double 16 point and 10 rebounds.

U-Maine Farmington kept the game consistently close countering with shooting 50% from the free throw line as a team.

Next up Badgers travel to Plattsburgh January 10.
