Our Women Badger's Basketball team traveled to NVU-Lyndon to face off in their last regular season game before the playoffs. It was a tight back and forth game as both teams scored the same amount of points throughout three quarters of play. Going into the fourth quarter the game was tied 65-65. But a late game scoring surge of 27 points in the quarter help seal the deal and our Badger's ended up winning with the final score being 92-86.
The Standout performances were, Devyn Thompson with 14 points, Gabrielle Wardwell with a double-double scoring 16 points and getting 22 rebounds and adding 2 blocks, Emma Buonanno with 22 points and 4 steals, Paris Atuahene with 32 points, 7 assists, while adding 6 steals and 3 blocks on the defensive end.
This ends their regular season with the record of 14-11 and their conference record with 7-7.
Their first game of the playoffs will be against SUNY Poly at SUNY Poly on Friday (2/17/23) at 7:30 PM. Everyone wish them luck!
