Johnson Falls to New England College

The Johnson State women's lacrosse team fell to New England College  16-6 on Tuesday afternoon at Minaert Field. With the win, the Pilgrims advance to 7-6 overall and 4-1 in the North Atlantic Conference. Johnson slides to 0-6 overall and 1-3 in the conference.

Tara Bainbridge led the visitors in scoring, finishing the game with four goals.  Nichole Weeks  powered the offense for the Badgers' potting five of the Badgers' six goals. 

Johnson scored the game's first goal, which was quickly answered by the visitors within the first minute of play. New England College went on an 11 goal run to end the first half up 12-1. 

Johnson found its groove in the middle of the second half, scoring a flurry of goals to close the scoring gap to 17-4. Unfortunately, the goals weren't enough to lift the Badgers' out of the hole, and the visitors walked off with a 19-6 win. 

Johnson returns to action at home against Me.-Farmington on Saturday, April 16th at 1:00 p.m. New England College will next travel to Daniel Webster on Wednesday afternoon for a 4:00pm game.
