WATERVILLE, MAINE - The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has released the 2017 Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll and Johnson State College has been ranked to finish ninth in a vote conducted by the league's coaches.
Johnson State (2016: 1-10, 1-7 NAC) will be led by Jeff Capen, who enters his first season coaching the Badgers. Juniors Nicole Weeks (Barre, Vt.), Kaitlin Boucher (Barre, Vt.) and Shannon Rooney (Cambridge, Vt.) will hold leadership roles for the young Badger group. Johnson will look to build on the foundation of the program and see success in its third season.
The Badgers open the season on Wednesday, March 8th when they travel to Norwich for a 3:00 p.m. start.
