NORTHFIELD, Vt.– The Johnson State College women's soccer team defeated Norwich University 4-1 in a non-conference game on Tuesday evening. Kylie Aither (Hyde Park, Vt.) notched a hat-trick and an assist in the victory.
SCORING
1st Half: Aither scored her first in the 13th minute on a shot from 25 yards out that deflected off the goalie's hands and into the back of the net to give Johnson (2-0, 0-0 NAC) the 1-0 lead.
2nd Half: The Badgers doubled their lead seven minutes into the second when Aither scored off a feed from Katherine Fish (Lake Elmore, Vt.) to push to a 2-0 lead. Fish added her fourth of the season in the 65th minute on a goal assisted by Aither. The Cadets (0-2, 0-0 GNAC) got on the board in the 73rd minute with a goal by Sydney Rocheville, but the Badgers put Norwich away in the 84th minute when Aither finished the hat-trick on a goal assisted by Fish.

Kaila Lemmer (Barnard, Vt., 2-0) was outstanding in net holding the Cadets to one goal on 18 shots to earn the win. Katie Bishop-Manning was given the loss, allowing four goals on six shots for Norwich
