JOHNSON, VT — The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's soccer team was defeated by the University of Maine at Farmington 6-0 in their North Atlantic Conference matchup on Saturday afternoon.
SCORING
1st Half: Farmington's Fern Calkins put the Beavers on the board early off an assist by teammates McKenna Brodeur and Hadlee Yescott. Brodeur followed up in the 12th minute of action with her first of two goals in the first half. The Beavers also received a goal from Ashley Gleason off a pass by Lydia Roy to give Farmington a 4-0 lead over the Badgers at halftime.
2nd Half: The Beavers continued their scoring streak in the second half, earning both of their goals in the 58th minute off finishes by Lydia Roy and Hadlee Yescott.

The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's soccer team will travel to Castine, Maine on Saturday, October 20th for a conference tilt versus Maine Maritime Academy. The game is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM.
