WSOC: Johnson Denied by Maine Maritime

CASTINE, ME — The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's soccer team fell 7-1 to the Mariners in their conference tilt on Saturday evening. Senior Kaitlin Boucher (Barre, VT) scored the Badgers lone goal of the match. 

SCORING

1st Half: The Mariners went up 2-0 early in the game after goals by Margot Simeon and Adeline Davis. They continued their scoring frenzy, adding three more goals in the first half to make the score 5-0 over the Badgers entering halftime.

2nd Half: Maine Maritime added two more goals in the 68th minute of play to make the score 7-0. Senior Kaitlin Boucher put the Badgers on the board in the 75th minute, giving a final score of 7-1 in favor of the Mariners.
